The Short Version

  • You do not need an account or login to use our caffeine timing calculators.
  • All calculation inputs (your chosen beverage, caffeine amount, bedtime, and sensitivity) are processed strictly inside your browser and never transmitted to our servers.
  • We never sell, rent, or monetize your personal information.
  • Optional waitlist signups only collect your email address, which is used exclusively to notify you when the app launches.
  • Analytics cookies run only if you click “Accept” on the consent banner. Without consent, we record zero tracking cookies.

1. Information Processed Locally on Your Device

When you use the Cutoff Calculator or Timing Optimizer, your beverage selections, intake times, and target bedtimes exist only in browser memory while the page is open. We do not transmit these health habits or lifestyle parameters to any backend API.

2. Waitlist Information (Voluntary)

If you choose to submit your email to join the mobile app waitlist:

  • We store your email address securely in our PostgreSQL database hosted on Railway with Neon.
  • We protect submissions against automated bots using Cloudflare Turnstile (a privacy-preserving verification widget).
  • We store zero raw IP addresses with your waitlist record.
  • You can request deletion of your waitlist record at any time by contacting us.

3. Analytics & Cookies

We use PostHog to analyze aggregated website traffic patterns.

  • Without consent: No cookies are stored. Page visits are counted in an aggregated, privacy-preserving manner without tracking your identity.
  • With consent: A first-party cookie helps us understand aggregate user flows and improve calculator usability. Session replay masks all sensitive form fields.

4. Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), you have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal data we hold about you (e.g. waitlist email).
  • Request erasure or correction of your email from our waitlist.
  • Withdraw consent for analytics at any time by clearing your browser cookies.
